As you can see, the HAF XM lives up to its High Air Flow heritage and offers a lot of options for setting up case cooling just the way you want it. The three included fans (200mm x 2 and 140mm x 1) provide a good start and will likely meet the needs of most users.

The following table lists the noise generated by the three case fans while operating at different speeds with the side panels and top on.  Sound Pressure Levels were taken 3’ from the front of the HAF XM enclosure.  The ambient background noise level was approximately 27 dBA.

With all three fans running at full speed the noise is noticeable but not loud and provides good airflow throughout the case.  Slowing the fans down by reducing the voltage still keeps air flowing but quiets the case to a whisper.
