The EVGA SuperNOVA NEX1500 Classified power supply is rated for a combined, continuous output power of up to 1500 watts at 50°C operating temperature. That’s important as some less reputable manufactures limit their power supply’s advertised capacity by specifying a lower operating temperature (25°C) in the fine print. In addition, the NEX1500 can be “Overclocked” to 1650W with 230VAC input.
The NEX1500 PSU is capable of operating in either single or multiple +12V rail modes (selectable with a DIP switch on the back panel). The +12V rail(s) can deliver up to 124A (or 133A in OC mode)! The PSU includes universal AC line input (automatically adjusts the AC line voltage) and active PFC, which makes the unit more environmentally friendly to the local power grid.
