The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – SLI
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (DirectX 9)
The Empire of Tamriel is on the edge. The High King of Skyrim has been murdered.
Alliances form as claims to the throne are made. In the midst of this conflict, a far more dangerous, ancient evil is awakened. Dragons, long lost to the passages of the Elder Scrolls, have returned to Tamriel.
The future of Skyrim, even the Empire itself, hangs in the balance as they wait for the prophesized Dragonborn to come; a hero born with the power of The Voice, and the only one who can stand amongst the dragons.

SLI doesn't see much scaling in terms of average frame rates at 1080p for either the TITAN or the GTX 680 but we do see some variance issues with the frametimes as you can see in the percentiles graphic and the gaps between the 75th and 99th results.

At 2560×1440 the GTX 680 is actually scaling better, moving up about 60% overall while the GTX TITAN is still a bit bottlenecked and scales just under 35% by adding a second card. Frametimes are still a bit of an issue for multi-GPU configurations; if we look at the 99th percentile metrics for example the GTX 680 scales only by about 20% with the GXT TITANs only at 7%.

I just spent a little over $1100 on 3 x 7970’s and against my friends new Titan, I basically walk over him in all benchmarks.

Except that Crossfire is a sham. You get no better performance than one card. Read the article before spouting. And Tech Report and Hardocp. Runt frames a real disaster for Crossfire as they can be seen, measured, and exposed, unlike the fraps number which includes totally degraded frames in their fps number you rely on. Latencies have long been an issue with AMD cards and this clarifies in Crossfire.
