BIOS Features
MSI bundled the Z77A-G45 Thunderbolt motherboard with the latest version of their UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface) BIOS, a customized version of the AMI-developed UEFI style BIOS. The UEFI BIOS offers full keyboard and mouse support while using the BIOS pages with enhanced mouse navigation supported by right clicking the mouse – goes back to previous view if inside a settings pop-up or on a sub-menu page.
I continue to believe that MSI's take on the UEFI BIOS makes for a nice BIOS experience. The BIOS is well laid out, smooth and very responsive both with the mouse and keyboard. I didn't notice any lag at all when using the mouse buttons – menus and settings responded well to double-click and reverse navigation occurred quickly when right-clicking the window or screen. One issue I did encounter was with keyboard sensitivity while taking BIOS screenshots using the F12 key from within the BIOS.

Hi,
I am building a pc and there are a number of cables from the front panel of the pc case (usb, pc power etc). I can find all the ports to connect these cables to on the motherboard (MSI Z77A-G45) except the SD/MMR cable. Do you know where this connects to on this motherboard?
Thanks in advance.
Mick.
