The Seasonic Platinum Series Fanless 460W power supply is rated for a combined, continuous output power of up to 460 watts. The PSU includes universal AC line input (automatically adjusts to the AC line voltage) and active PFC, which makes the unit more environmentally friendly to the local power grid. The Platinum-460 Fanless PSU features a single +12V rail that can deliver up to 38A (456W) of power; nearly the entire capacity of the unit.

Packaging and Parts
The Seasonic Platinum Series Fanless 460W power supply arrived securely packed inside a standard retail box that highlights the unit's main features and specifications. The power supply itself is enclosed in a black velvet bag with a Platinum-colored Seasonic logo.
In addition to the power supply the package includes a power cord, mounting screws, Nylon pouch with modular cables, wire & cable ties, Seasonic case badge, multi-language Owner's Manual, and warranty card.
A total of eight modular cables come neatly packed inside a black and silver nylon storage pouch along with one 4-pin FDD cable adapter.

Fanless PSU’s aren’t much use
Fanless PSU’s aren’t much use IMHO, a PSU with an inaudible HDB fan is the way to go.

Is it really silent? Yes,
Is it really silent? Yes, there is no fan, but it can produce a long pi sound when working under load.
I have heard this that is why it is difficult to decide. I want to have a completely silent computer, but what if this PSU doesn’t work as expected when it arrives? There is a Thermaltake Tt Toughpower DPS G 550W – I am looking for it on hardware.nl or amazon which should be great too – it has a 140mm fan. Well, it makes some sound. So, this is like a lottery, I think…
