Overclocking Results

ASUS OC Tuner

After clicking the OC Tuner link from the Ai Tweaker page in the BIOS, the system booted into Windows at a 4.2GHz CPU clockspeed with a 103MHz base clock setting and memory running at 1922MHz. Memory timings were auto-set to 11-11-11-30-2T by the system. System stability was tested by running a combination of LinX and FurMark over with LinX running for 500 loops with Memory set to All and FurMark running at 1280×1024 resolution and 2x MSAA in stress test mode. System settings for the automated overclocking session are shown below.

Manual Overclocking

Using manual settings in the ASUS UEFI BIOS via the Ai Tweaker page, I was able stabilize the system at an impressive 105MHz base clock with a 4.5GHz CPU speed and memory running at 1960MHz. Unfortunately, the system would not boot at any higher memory speed. System stability was tested over a 10 hour period with LinX running for 500 loops with Memory set to All and FurMark running at 1280×1024 resolution and 2x MSAA in stress test mode.
