Our Settings for Far Cry 3

In truth, AMD didn't want us to test Far Cry 3 with this driver, but eh, we already had the data.  As it turns out though, they didn't need to worry as we still saw solid improvements in the observed frame rates compared to the 13.5 beta.

Clearly, Far Cry 3 is still a mess for all of the dual GPU cards in the market including the GTX 690 as only the GTX Titan can maintain a thin, tight line of frame times.  The new prototype driver does improve the results drastically compared to the 13.5 beta driver, putting it much more in line with the GTX 690.

Impressive!  The average frame rate of the HD 7990 with the prototype driver is around 50 FPS, higher than the 41 FPS average on the GTX 690.  Even though the prototype result does trail off after the 90th percentile, clearly this updated driver is improving results over the 38 FPS of the 13.5 beta release.

The GTX Titan has by far the least variance, followed by the GTX 690 and then the current HD 7990 with the prototype software.
