Overall the GTX 680 SLI and the GTX 780 SLI results are very similar in Battlefield 3 with very little frame time variance at any resolution.  The SLI scaling results from a single card to dual GPUs are solid once again – we expected no less from this GPU we are already very familiar with.  The same cannot be said of the HD 7970 GHz Edition of course – there are still massive scaling problems with CrossFire and varying frame times.
