3DMark, 3DMark11, Unigine Heaven

Now that we have taken a look at our gaming tests using our Frame Rating metrics and testing methods, we are including a set of tests from more standard benchmarks like 3DMark 11, Unigine Heaven and the newer 3DMark benchmark.

I consider these tests to be somewhat of a "best case" for all the cards in our comparison.  We aren't using our frame capture system, we aren't measuring frame latency, nothing like that; I think this should give you an idea of graphics performance if each vendor had the best result for each game.

The performance delta between the Titan and the GTX 780 rests at just under 10% while the GTX 780 is 40% faster than the Radeon HD 7970.

Looking at the GTX 780 and the GTX Titan, the $1000 GPU sees a 5% performance lead on the standard test and a 4% lead at the Extreme preset.  The GTX Radeon HD 7970 finds itself 21% and 25% behind respectively.

Unigine Heaven results see similar performance differences as the GTX Titan keeps a moderate lead and the GTX 780 stays well ahead of the Radeon HD 7970.
