A continuation of the Colin McRae series, but without his name, DiRT 3 is one of the top racing games in the world and offers stunning imagery along with support for features of DirectX 11.

Our settings for DiRT 3

1920×1080 results are pretty standard here – all four cards are able to produce a very solid result with some not-great frame time variance seen with the GTX 780 and GTX Titan thanks to the CPU bottleneck this resolution creates.  The Radeon HD 7970 has it as well, though it is hidden behind the green color in our graphs.

At 2560×1440 we do see a bit more separation but nothing dramatic still.  The new GTX 780 is actually right in line with the Radeon HD 7970 and only the GTX Titan stands above in performance.

Even when we get into the triple display results at 5760×1080, DiRT 3 isn't telling us much about the performance of these four cards.  Even the GTX 680 2GB, averaging 47 FPS, is within spitting distance of the experience you get with the GTX Titan at 63 FPS.
