ASUS does not disappoint in the offerings included with the Maximus VI Extreme board, giving your everything you should need to get the board up and running no matter what type of user you are.
The bundled user manuals and installation DVDs provide plenty of information to get the board up and running, including a manual detailing out the included software applications and a comprehensive fold-out quickstart guide. ASUS also includes a sheet of SATA cable labels.
The included rear panel shield is a base black color with all device ports clearly marked in white lettering for easy identification.
ASUS includes a total of 10 6Gb/s rated SATA cables. All cables included integrated port locks with a mix of straight and 90 degree connectors included.
For use with the on-board front panel headers, ASUS included their Q-Connector header plugs. You simply plug the front panel plugs into the Q-Connector and plug the Q-Connector into the appropriate board header. It makes installation the front panel plugs much easier.
For multi-GPU use, ASUS bundled in 4-way, 3-way, and 2-way NVIDIA SLI cables as well as an AMD CrossFire cable.
The included ROG Connect USB cable can be used to connect the Maximus VI Extreme board to a remote system. After connecting the two systems, you can use the ASUS TweakIt application on the remote system to configure settings on the Maximus VI Extreme system.
For attaching to wireless and Bluetooth-based networks, ASUS includes their redesigned dual-plug antennae. The antennae can be used in a flat or upright orientation with its flat surface optimized for broadcast and reception of 802.11ac type signals.
The included mPCIe Combo II device plugs into the mPCIe slot adjacent to the rear panel, adding Intel-based 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capabilities to the board. Additionally, the card supports use of an M.2 form factor SSD card. If an M.2 SSD card is used with the mPCIe Combo II device, the SATA 5 slot tied to the Intel controller is automatically disabled.
As an added bonus, ASUS included some swag in the with the board in the form of a ROG-branded magnet.

What is the point in having 10 SATA3 ports (theoretical 60Gbit) when the DMI 2.0 bus connecting the CPU and chipset is limited to 20Gbit?

So why should I upgrade from my current Asus Maximus V Extreme , 3770k and 32Gb Vengeance @2133MHZ ?
This MB should accommodate 64GB RAM.
The way I see it, is just lame marketing, no significant improvement.
