To get the bad news over with first, the 600Hz does not refer to the same type of refresh rate as required by 3D TV, though you never know if some creative hacking could get something similar to 3D. What it does mean is absolutely no ghosting on this enormous 60" TV for LG and with the included speakers it is easy to set up. Maybe you know someone who's vision is starting to go who could use the large size screen?
