With a 2.4Ghz i7-4700MQ, 8GB DDR3-1600 and a GeForce GT750M the Lenovo IdeaPad Y410p offers some gaming potential for well under $1000. Lenovo have also chosen to go with JBL speakers as opposed to ones with questionable quality but a famous name attached to them. The bad news is that it ships with Win8 but on the plus side you can get some good upgrades by paying a bit more.

the big problem with these
the big problem with these laptops ” y410p, y500, and y510p is that Lenovo is lagging with the 750m mobile ultrabay. This is an awesome laptop and I was so exited to wanting buy this laptop. It’s amazing the price in these laptops in the Lenovo page with the discounts, but the main reason people want this laptop is for having the ability to upgrade a second videocard on the road, but freaking Lonovo has horrible customer service and give you the run around and can’t tell you if this 14 inch model will or will not make a videocard ultrabay? if you don’t believe me, then go to the Lenovo forums and check the horrible “help”.
they can pretty well
they can pretty well guarantee my purchase if they do in fact have a dual gpu option.
