Fremont, California — October 15, 2013 — Corsair®, a worldwide designer of high-performance components for the PC hardware market, today announced the new Graphite Series 230T mid-tower PC case. Available in three colors, Battleship Grey, Rebel Orange, and Black, the new case combines dramatic, angular styling and the builder-friendly features, expandability, and flexibility that Corsair cases are known for.
The Graphite Series 230T case features a sculpted, aggressively styled steel exterior with color coordinated LED intake fans and a tinted side panel window. Inside, the matte black interior has plenty of room for multi-GPU configurations and mass storage with seven expansion slots along with four 2.5”, four 3.5”, and three 5.25” drive bays. The case also includes dual 120mm LED front intake fans and a rear 120mm exhaust fan, and has mounts to add two 120mm or 140mm fans on the top and a 120mm or 140mm fan on the bottom.
The Graphite Series 230T is designed with smart features that make builds and upgrades quick and easy. An innovative cable management system with cable routing cutouts is provided for clean-looking builds and better airflow. A convenient CPU cutout allows for cooling upgrades without removing the motherboard, and tool-free side panels, PCI-E expansion slots, and drive bays eliminate the search for screwdrivers and screws.
“Our Graphite Series cases are designed to be visually exciting, with a design aesthetic that reflects their superior performance and quality,” said Xavier Lauwaert, Director of Product Marketing at Corsair. “The Graphite Series 230T exemplifies this, making it a great platform for gaming PCs, graphics design workstations, or any application where high performance and high style both matter.”

Why couldn’t this come in
Why couldn’t this come in either silver or white. It’ll be a great case for building a steambox.
It appears Corsair rep
It appears Corsair rep actually reads these so here goes.
Your cases are extremely popular with the enthusiast builder crowd a other forums have noted the “small touches” your brand does to raise the quality bar.
Rubber gromets for your cutouts is expected in all your cases and can’t possibly cost so much that they can’t be included in every single one of your cases, even the budget ones. Please include them in all cases. They are a small touch that just raises the bar in every build.
In addition, Corsair should check the big forums…they keep asking for custom touches that they are forced to build themselves because zcorsair doesn’t make them.
For example, google “corsair 600 full side panel” and search images. Corsair, you’re leaving money on the table when you could easily profit from these kinds of accessories.
Personally, most Corsair products are excellent doing a fantastic job but there is always room for improvement.
tldr: don’t go el cheapo and take my money please!
So, what’s the difference
So, what’s the difference between this and the 200R? Seems to me that it’s the optional colours, and having two front fans with LEDs instead of one without. Is that really the only difference or is there more to this?
I have a similiar corsair
I have a similiar corsair that I don’t use. However this is a very well constructed case. The concept of form over function doesn’t apply here. This case does everything you need with great airflow and cable management in a tight form factor. The styling on mine gives you a military grade feel. I like the looks of this new case even better. For some people the case matters.
