The Dell UltraSharp U2913WM is one of those rare 21:9 aspect ratio screens, sporting a 2560 x 1080 resolution and offering comparable screen real estate to two smaller displays thanks to it's 29" screen. The ghosting on this IPS monitor is minimal and the input lag is acceptable which makes it a good choice for gamers as well as for productivity. You are going to need some space if you want multiple screens though, a triple U29WM setup will be 7' of screen!

Maybe monitor recommendations
Maybe monitor recommendations should be accompanied by a mention of the importance of g-sync. At least as far as pc gamers are concerned, this should be a paramount consideration, unless I have an exaggerated sense of how much difference g-sync will make. But I do not think I do.
If it’s not NVIDIA branded,
If it's not NVIDIA branded, it doesn't do GSYNC … at least as far as we know at this point
For sure Jeremy. I was just
For sure Jeremy. I was just suggesting that this might be mentioned in the recommendation of any monitor for the near future so people are not upset in a few months when they realize they bought a monitor that does not support g-sync.
Here’s hoping they actually
Here's hoping they actually arrive in a few months
I just get the sense that
I just get the sense that nvidia and the monitor makers are going to move forward fast. By doing so, nvidia will cool the reception for the r290 and the monitor makers will benefit from all the gamers who want to use g-sync and will be willing to buy yet another monitor. I sure hope current monitors can be retrofitted so we don’t have to replace the monitors we presently own.
