“OpenCL is considerably
“OpenCL is considerably easier to learn and use than tools like VHDL”, These chips are FPGA, and not specifically for Accelerating openCL as such! It is that programming FPGAs in OpenCL is much easier using OpenCL than VHDL! It’s the software tool chain, through OpenCL librarys that is the story here, that makes Altera’s FPGAs much easier to work with. It still takes Hours to compile the FPGA, but the programming part just got much simpler! When in dougbt always refer to the Anandtech article, and not the paraprased+THC secondary source!

I wish the podcast would go
I wish the podcast would go back to the original members: Ryan, Josh, Allyn and Jeremy. It’s just not the same. I used to love watching this live every week but since Morry and Scott started coming on it has been almost dreading to watch anymore. Even if someone cannot attend the podcast, they should not be substituted.
I like the old PCPer podcast… Hope it makes it back.

Gotta break Morry and Scott
Gotta break Morry and Scott in somehow! Practice makes perfect, and it is hard to break in as the combo of Ryan, Jeremy, Allyn and myself have been working together since well before the jump to TWiT and video. Was a lot harder to do when it was recorded audio only, so we built up a pretty good rapport in those days. Consider as well it used to be Ryan, Jeremy, and Lee back in the day. Allyn and myself are newcomers as compared!
