Our Settings for Battlefield 3

Here is our testing run through the game, for your reference.

Even though I would tell anyone that has one of these cards with a 1080p screen that you are crazy, the new GTX 780 Ti is clearly the fastest card in the comparison.  It is able to pull an average frame rate of 130 FPS or so in our BF3 testing compared to the R9 290X hitting just under 120 FPS.

This is a big win for NVIDIA: the GTX 780 Ti is 15% faster than the R9 290X at 2560×1440 in BF3 (and the TITAN for that matter).  Most serious gamers that are looking at cards in this price point are going to be using a panel like this.

At 4K we see another big win for the GTX 780 Ti over the GTX 780 and the R9 290X.  With the full GK110 we are able to run BF3 at Ultra settings at 40 FPS compared to 33 FPS with the 290X, a difference of about 20%.
