A Detailed Look – From the Outside (Cont’d)

Looking at the rear of the enclosure reveals a fairly typical ATX-tower style layout with the power supply mounted at the bottom of the enclosure instead of the top.  A 140mm exhaust fan comes pre-installed and there are two grommeted openings below the fan for routing external liquid-cooling hoses in and out of the chassis if desired. All of the expansion card brackets contain ventilation slots to allow warm air to exhaust out the rear of the case and are secured with thumb screws.

The power supply is mounted via a small sub plate to make installation easy.

One simple but very cool feature of the H440 chassis is the inclusion of two LED work lights mounted into the back panel. A small pushbutton switch turns the lights on and off.

Flipping the H440 case upside down exposes four large rubber feet and a large dust filter for the power supply air intake area. The filter slides in from the back and fits into guide rails so it can be easily removed and cleaned.
