Air Cooling
The Corsair Obsidian Series 450D Mid-Tower case was designed with an increased focus on high air-flow in mind to keep all your high-end gaming hardware running cool and reliable. There are eight different case fan mounting locations along with support for liquid cooling.

The 450D comes with two Corsair labeled AF140L intake fans preinstalled in the front and one AF120L exhaust fan in the back. Additional fans can be added (up to 8 fans) if you choose. This provides very good baseline cooling and results in positive air pressure inside the case, which along with the three included air filters helps keep dust out.
The following table lists the noise generated by the three included case fans while operating at different speeds with the side panels on. Sound Pressure Levels were taken 3’ from the front of the enclosure. The ambient background noise level was approximately 26 dBA in a quiet room.
With all three fans running at full speed the noise is noticeable but certainly not loud while providing very good airflow through the case. Slowing the fans down by reducing the voltage (by adding your own fan speed controller) still keeps air flowing but quiets the case to an inaudible whisper.

The Obsidian Series 450D also supports liquid cooling with four different areas available for mounting one or more fan/radiator combinations of different sizes.
• Rear: 120mm radiator
• Top: 360mm or 280mm radiator
• Front: 280mm or 240mm radiator
• Bottom: 240mm radiator
I see that your case reviews
I see that your case reviews are still lacking the PcPer touch as most of the imagery is from Corsair!?
Do you really not think as a reviewer you should be testing things yourself!? Like installing a full system and testing the thermals, instead of filling your review with promo material from Corsair. The reader might as well just go to the Corsair page and read that.
Still disappointed, might have to look elsewhere for better reviews in the future…

Recognizing the 450D is an ATX case, and the 350D is M-ATX, in terms of quality of build, do you have a preference?
Also, with an eye on heat and sound (quieter), if running 2 GPUs in SLI or even a single GPU (ex. GTX 780)–which case would you choose–350D or 450D?

(Should have included . . . ) . . . case/system to be on desk and used as workstation, flight simulator and HD video editing computer.
