do you think haswell e will be a lot faster than my 2700k
Will it be faster? Yes (or at
Will it be faster? Yes (or at least probably based on what has been announced so far) But will it be worth an upgrade? Ehh, if you have money burning a hole in your pocket or are a serious video producer, sure but otherwise the i7 2700K should be plenty fast for gaming and other everyday tasks.
Heck, I'm still running an i7 860 0.o. It is fast enough… but with that said the 8 core Haswell-E is tempting from a technological standpoint. It's gonig to be expensive as heck though, and I'll probably not upgrade. Your case may be different though.
