Right away we see that the R9 280X stands ahead of both the R9 280 and R9 285, so nothing has really changed in that performance relationship. It appears though that the Radeon R9 285 is actually a step slower than the Radeon R9 280, dropping from 49 FPS on average to about 46 FPS. It's a small difference, but is worth noting. The GeForce GTX 760 is able to match performance of the R9 285 in this instance.

 

The same pattern is essentially repeated here as the R9 280 is a bit faster than the R9 285 as we have them setup.
