NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 and GTX 970 GM204 Review: Power and Efficiency - Graphics Cards 46

Our first results here in BF4 indicate that the GeForce GTX 980 is going to be a beast, beating out the R9 290X and the GTX 780 Ti at 2560×1440.

At 4K the relative performance delta actually grows, with the new GM204 GPU bring in an average frame rate that is 13% faster than the R9 290X from AMD.

Now let's look at the GTX 970; it once again shows a performance advantage over the cards we are comparing it to here, including the GTX 780 and the R9 290, at both 2560×1440 and 3840×2160. This matchup is a bit closer than the GTX 980 battle, but clearly NVIDIA has a solid product for BF4 gamers.
