Looking forward to listening
Looking forward to listening this week. I made a comment in last weeks podcast post but it was a little late to get any views. Allyn was talking about Storage Spaces and I wanted to ask him when his own personal home NAS setup is. I’m looking to set something up but there are a lot of options both in file systems and operating systems that you can use. Even if Allyn is running more hardware than I will end up I’d be interested to see both his software/hardware choices.
I was also looking around for an email address to send in this question but it appears that the podcast doesn’t do questions, or at least I can’t find an email address in the show notes. I remember you used to run a phone line for people to call in. My memory is also terrible and perhaps when I listen to this podcast I’ll hear the address I’m looking for.
Keep up the good work all.

Amazes me that you guys laugh
Amazes me that you guys laugh derisively at the NH-D15 when the NH-D14 has been for years and continues to be the most popular enthusiast air heatsink. This new one is only different in that it uses 2 140mm fans rather than 1 140mm and 1 120mm, along with this one being more, not less, compatible with mobos and memory modules. You guys all act as if you have no knowledge of the iconic NH-D14. It isn’t as if all of us out here choose to use potentially unreliable aio coolers. And Allyn, who is completely clueless on the subject, this heatsink is simple to install, way easier than most aio water coolers. I was delighted that Maury reviewed this new version. It was expected as he knows what the enthusiast community, unlike you folks, favor for air cooling.
