Our Settings for GRID 2

GRID 2 is an impressive looking racing game but is a title that doesn't benefit much from the inclusion of multiple graphics cards. Even moving from a single card to a pair of GTX 980s, we only get a 38% performance improvement at 2560×1440 at the Ultra in-game preset. Going beyond that only gets us another 8% or so in average frame rates; not enough to really consider worth investing in all those GPUs.

At 4K, 2-Way SLI scaling does improve to nearly 80%, but installing more GPUs resulted in my inability to start up GRID 2 at the 3840×2160 resolution. Bummer, considering it might have been another case of impressive 3-Way and 4-Way SLI.
