Testing Configuration and Benchmarks Used
To verify that the cooler kit operates up to specs, the Cooler Master Nepton 240M AIO CPU cooler was tested with the CPU running at stock and at a known stable overclocking speed using Z87 and X99-based motherboards, so that comparative results could be provided for both Haswell and Haswell-E based systems. The results are presented for the cooling kit under review as well as the XSPC Raystorm D5 Photon RX480 water cooling kit, Cooler Master Glacer 240L AIO CPU cooler, Corsair H100i AIO CPU cooler, and the Noctua NH-D15 CPU air cooler for performance comparison purposes. The benchmark tests used should give you a good understanding of the cooler's capabilities so that you, the reader, can make a more informed purchasing decision. The comparison coolers were selected based on their superior performance capabilities.

The 64-bit Windows 7 based test bench used for Intel Z87 LGA1150 board testing includes an Intel Core i7-4770K CPU, 16GB of DDR3-1866 memory, an NVIDIA GTX 570 1.25GB video card, and a Samsung 840 EVO 250GB or Intel 730 240GB SSD drive. Using the selected components gives us the ability to demonstrate the cooling system's capabilities rather than that of the system components.
The 64-bit Windows 7 based test bench used for Intel X99 LGA2011-v3 board testing includes an Intel Core i7-5960X CPU, 32GB of DDR4-2666 memory, an ASUS Poseidon GTX 780 3GB graphics card, and an Intel 730 240GB SSD drive. Using the selected components gives us the ability to demonstrate the cooling system's capabilities rather than that of the system components.

Please review the thermaltake
Please review the thermaltake 360 mm Ultimate 3.0,
plus I would love to see a rig with noctua premium fan difference for the whole rig, I have seen upto 5 degrees lower and at lower power and less noise.

I second the excellent review, keep up the good work Morry 🙂

If you have a case that can at least support the size of a noctua u14 cooler than paying more for an AIO water cooling solution is foolish. The u14 tests within 1-2 degrees of the big d15 and the d15 hangs right in with the water cooling at a much quieter and cheaper price and the u14 is only 75 dollars.
