Results: Battlefield 4
I have finally moved on from Battlefield 3 and joined the latest generation of Battlefield games. The Frostbite 3 engine powers the latest from DICE, and it takes realism to a greater height with all of its effects. The first mission was benchmarked using FRAPS. The “High” preset was used.
If you are a BF4 enthusiast who cannot afford a dual setup or a $500+ card, then it is a pretty good idea to look at the GTX 970. At 1600P the Zotac board does take a good sized lead over the rest of the crowd.
I noticed the cooling fins
I noticed the cooling fins are vertical on the Zotac unit, is it blowing half of the heat directly onto the motherboard? Or is that not really an issue?

I wouldn't say it was an issue at all. In fact, the extra downforce might in fact help overall cooling on the motherboard.
