Nvidia – “As a result of your findings…”. This is such a massive amount of BS it makes my head hurt. Users have been reporting this issue for months on end with no results. Same for a myriad of other issues that exist right now.
However, on a very positive note, I’m glad that due to your article nvidia is paying attention.
Now the users know how to get nvidia to fix issues. Screw nvidias driver feedback program. We just get pcper to talk about these issues on the podcast!

I agree with your point, as a chump who bought the original ROG SWIFT Gsync I can confirm my 780ti ran at 836mhz on the desktop for the longest time. I cannot believe it took Ryan posting an article to get them moving on it. Glad to see it being fixed though. Thanks Ryan
Ryan,
Before surround sound
Ryan,
Before surround sound became the norm, you could go to a high end audio store and listen to all sorts of combinations of stereo amps, preamps, speakers, and sources. Now it seems there are only home theater rather than dedicated audio stores. Anyway, if you know of a store that carries very high end stereo components, have them bring you into their listening room and let them try to wow you with combinations of high end components. If you spend anytime in that room with a very knowledgeable guy, you will hear what all the fuss is about. I could never afford the super high end stuff, but I could get 95% of it for around $5000.
I totally get what Sebastian is saying about the values he finds and presents. I recently bought an M-Audio Super DAC, which is on Amazon for around $145 (I got mine within days of release and they had it for only $95, so I lucked out). It is a truly amazing DAC and I have no doubt the analog output it delivers to my preamp is at least 95% of what a $2000 DAC would deliver.

Guys,
Is there a way to post/email questions or topics on the website that could be discussed in a slow news week podcast. (PS: I’m not on twitter and I am no good with voicemail)
Thanks

Hello crew,
I have a question/topic for the website or podcast.
Have you tested down clocking GPUs to look at the effect on frame rates? (frame rates and fluctuations)
I have recently purchased an AMD 390X and ran some benchmarks within games and also played them and found a smoother experience when I had down clocked my GPU by around 7%. I know it sounds counterintuitive, but a smoother experience for me is more important than having the maximum frame rate possible. I understand that this GPU is temperature bound and maybe acerbating my findings.
If possible I would be grateful if you guys could to test this theory against multiple GPUs and multiple games/benchmarks.
Thank you.
Regards
George.
