   The section about VR was really bad, you are a tech site with a large gaming following and should understand this stuff better. First, you need the cameras for the HEADSET positional tracking, not just controllers. Second, comparing the hololens to the Rift/Vive is ridiculous at this point, it has a tiny field of view compared to HMDs and there are some basic optics/physics problems that will keep that from changing any time soon. Third, game designers are aware that a small fraction of people will have a large space to use VR, if you listen to them talk they bring it up all the time. It sounds like most of the games coming out in the near future will be sitting/standing games and a small number will have an option to go large scale. The reason why Oculus and Valve are showing room scale is because that is the best experance and does the best job of showing how sexy VR can be, not because they expect that from the consumers.

     The Vive room-scale space is UP TO 15m diagonal. You can sit in a chair or just stand and not move, you dont need the whole room, it is a plus if you have the space.

   should be a lot lighter as they make theirs out of all aluminum

   So glad you have Sebastian to share his value-based high-fidelity audio tech knowledge and recommendations. The term “audiophile” was originally used to describe audio equipment that aimed to replicate as closely as possible what you would hear if you were at the venue or in the studio. This is most often referred to as a “flat” recreation of the music. In a flat audio system, the levels/volume of the frequencies will be true to the source. Obviously not everyone prefers a “flat” reproduction, possibly because of cultural influences or because of hearing deficits at certain frequencies. In any case, it is very costly to design and built equipment that can come as close as possilbe to achieving a “flat” response. Fortunately you can get audiophile quality audio components for orders of magnitude less than ten years ago. I recently got the new M-Audio Super DAC, a usb device, on sale for less than $100 instead of a traditional soundcard since I didn’t need all the bells and whistles for gaming, and the sound it produces is spectacular if you like “flat” reproductions.

   Sebastian, I recently ordered the audio technica ATH-M50x and should get them in a week or so. Have you had a chance to try them and if so, which would you choose? I do not care about open or closed as long as the sound is great, but i do care greatly about comfort. My awesome sounding grado’s are too painful and have gotten minimal use in the last ten years.
