We visited the Be Quiet suite at CES 2016 and took a look at their current enclosure, cooler, and power supply offerings, but there were some new things to see as the company readies its 2016 lineup.

First we looked at the Silent Base 800 enclosure, which will soon be available in red trim, or a green trim version (red pictured). While we have reviewed the Silent Base 600 enclosure, the Silent Base 800 (though built on the same internal chassis) offers additional noise reduction features. Air is drawn through the sides of the front panel and cycled behind the front intake fans, preventing audible fan noise as much as possible, and there is noise dampening material in place throughout.

The PSU lineup is essentially unchanged for 2016, though Be Quiet is revising the cabling on their power supplies to add "stealth" black – which means that no longer will you see the multi-colored wires anywhere on the cable. This will help provide a much nicer looking build without the use of cable extensions or custom PSU cables.

The cooler lineup is likewise unchanged (at least to this point), though availability of some of the coolers such as the Shadow Rock LP (which is manufactured in Taiwan rather than China) should be improving soon.
