I wasn't planning on reporting every Windows 10 Insider build, but I actually have something to say about this one. The last couple of builds were examples of Microsoft switching to a faster release cycle for preview users, although the known issues list were quite benign. The semi-frequent upgrade cycles would shake users away from the Insider program, or transition to Slow.
They now seem ready to start rolling back to less QA for Fast users.
Five issues are known about build 11102. First, internal changes to the Windows Graphics architecture cause some games to crash on launch, full screen, or resolution changes. The Witcher 3, Fallout 4, Tomb Raider, Assassin's Creed, and Metal Gear Solid V are known to be affected by this bug, but other games (and maybe even other software) could be affected too. Second, screen readers and other accessibility software may crash randomly. If you require those accommodations, then this build could make your device functionally unusable to you.
Beyond those two, big issues, three other ones are present. There is an error message on login with a workaround, a breaking change for old wireless drivers that you should probably upgrade beforehand if you rely upon wireless to download drivers, and “The Connect button does not show up in Action Center.”
Microsoft is currently updating the deep insides of the OS, which means that they will be poking around the source code in weird places. Once it's completed, this should make Windows more maintainable, especially for multiple types of hardware. But again, if you're not wanting to be a part of this, switch to Slow or leave Insider.
so last week MS is saying
so last week MS is saying that you need W10 to run new hardware. then a few(?) weeks prior, chris capossela is on a netcast saying you need W10 to run recent games.
yeah ok.
Or like anyone with common
Or like anyone with common sense, stay away from that crap all together. Even faster, and no code will be executed on your machine without your permission. Sadly, you give your soul and full access to your machine to MS if you are using W10.
Just the wording of that
Just the wording of that windows 10 EULA should be enough to keep those with half a brain away! Simply through the fools agreeing to that EULA, allows M$ so much in the way of shackling the user to its OS and services ecosystem, to go along with spying for metrics with which to sale to any and all for those revenues. And whatever plausible deniability M$ may appear to have on the surface to dissuade users of any fears of M$’s actual intents, can be via the wording in the EULA considered null and void, as M$ has carte blanche with users who click agree without reading the terms of indentured servitude in M$’s windows 10 EULA!
Yeah, like Google, Apple,
Yeah, like Google, Apple, many others don’t do the same thing. They shackle you to their ecosystem (duh!), the collect whatever information they can, and sell that info for profit. (Yes, Apple was paid a billion by Google to collect data on iOS devices…). Not saying that someone has to fold over but I don’t see collecting telemetry data and trying to keep you in their ecosystem as setting MS apart. They just have years of bad press, bad communication and poor business choices compared with media darlings Google and Apple.
I think many of us wouldn’t
I think many of us wouldn’t like to have those features included on PC operating system. Personally I prefer a clean and minimal operating system I can do my work and which doesn’t do any extra behind my back – that’s why I’m using Linux.
Well, if people still wants to continue use Windows that’s fine but I’m glad PC gaming is spreading out of Windows.
Google and Apple are not
Google and Apple are not Operating systems their companies, and while both have their own OS neither of them have a significant presence in the desktop space, they mainly have a presence on mobile platforms that are used in the public space, not like desktop operating system that are used in the private space.
I wouldn’t want to walk down the street naked but that’s something i may want to do at home, in my private space, the same thing can be said of the desktop computer that only i have access to and is behind locked doors, versus a device that i use in public with the possibility of someone watching what I’m doing or worse yet stealing it.
If you can’t tell the difference between public and private spaces then you can’t hope to understand why people have a distaste for what Microsoft is doing.
I honestly cant believe that
I honestly cant believe that anyone is gullible enough to use Windows 10.
Please do not say any bad
Please do not say any bad thing about Windows 10. There are windows lovers who love Windows 7/8.1/10. So let them enjoy their OS.
The entire “spying” thing was
The entire “spying” thing was completely blown out of proportion. People love to keep regurgitating it ad nauseum though.
Also, calling people “gullible” is a bit silly too. The average person is going to use it just fine and experience no issues. What would actually be silly is to run around with a tinfoil hat spouting conspiracy theories and suggesting Linux is our last, best chance to avoid indentured “indentured servitude”.
Sigh.

MS executing code behind your
MS executing code behind your back, or forcing drivers to your machine is OK with you? Because MS knows what is good for you? That crap is free. Meaning they need to make their money one way or another… Last time I checked, MS was still not a charity company…
And I will let people giving away everything they do for free to their MS overlords… Crazy world… And some clowns are still happy and celebrate. Crazy. No wonder they keep pushing hardcore for everyone to install the NSA sponsored OS.
Linux executes code behind
Linux executes code behind your back as well, if it didn’t it wouldn’t function as an operating system. Keep pushing your tinfoil hat crap.

Enjoy your Linux alternative!
FYI any person with half a brain has their Win 10 Enterprise x64 locked down. You can use a couple tools like https://www.safer-networking.org/spybot-anti-beacon/ and https://www.oo-software.com/en/shutup10 with a few clicks and a reboot and have your Windows 10 secure. You can also use https://www.glasswire.com/ to further monitor your network and block the remaining call to home services M$ has running to your liking see here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EQ5qzg4xZiQ (How To Protect your PC & Network with GlassWire by Barnacules Nerdgasm)
I will keep copy & pasting this as people seem to not know shit and keep regurgitating FUD over and over like a of dumb cows/ herd of cows & sheep.

Linux as any other operating systems has bugs.
https://lkml.org/lkml/2016/1/19/304
Bugs has not prevented Linux spreading pretty much everywhere and very fast. Not only spread but dominating many areas like mobile and supercomputers.
Net of insecurity The kernel of the argument (Linus Torvalds):

PC as a platform is getting much more open and that’s good for all of us.
I’m not sure anyone said
I’m not sure anyone said Linux doesn’t have bugs or security issues, although i do wonder how long it would take to send 4 billion requests to the keyrings facility.
The problem is, as with most proprietary software, is that there’s no way for people to view the source code, there’s no way to know if Microsoft, in this instance, is doing anything untowards.
Since you appear to be a fan
Since you appear to be a fan of Barnacules, her he is on Tech Talk with JayzTwoCents laying down the reasons why so many people have a problem with Win10. Hint – he doesn’t agree with you.

It seems you’re new to the
It seems you’re new to the many issues. Maybe you were still in diapers during the Win 9x days, which may explain the ignorance and naivete, but what explains your pattern of logic?
>Serious bug in Linux kernel allows for privilege escalation…
Enjoy your Linux alternative!< So from a security and privacy standpoint, this bug now places *nix on par with, or worse than windows 10? How exactly did this convert that OS into a spyware nest? The open nature of Linux (and other open apps in general) means that this exploit will be addressed; with Windows, its up to Ms to decide whether to patch or not. Actually, it was likely said openness that led to the discovery in the first place. Windows exploits, OTOH, are a mixed bag... easy to find, difficult to find, or in the case of its Fed-exploitable backdoors, not detectable at all. BTW, you should read up on these obscure back doors that Ms deliberately ignore in order to allow the Feds months or years of exploit. >FYI any person with half a brain has their Win 10 Enterprise x64 locked down.< Huh?? And how does the average person come by Win 10 enterprise in the first place? Is it sold in stores on consumer-bound devices or is Ms also giving it away? FYI, the average Windows 10 user on new hardware - or, since its also a free upgrade, MOST Windows 10 users - will be on home or pro. Now since they're 'average, unsavvy' users to begin with, who, according to the Anon poster that you agreed with (@ January 21, 2016 | 11:42 PM), will "use it just fine and experience no issues," they wont have a need for any locking down of 10. Simply put, if in their minds there is no problem (after all they are just regular Joes with "half a brain"), then there wont be a need for Spybot Anti-Beacon and or similar software. So there are gaps in your line of logic and many questions are raised: - Why agree that 10 is fine yet point out the need to secure it? - 10 Enterprise allows you to turn off telemetry anyway, so theres no real need for the apps you mentioned. But how does the average half a brain get that OS anyway? - How did you get it? Volume license as per terms of some corp agreement? Or did you employ a more preferred method? (Dont worry, we love bit torrent too 😉 ) - Barnacules channel for securing Windows? Seriously??? Jerry is a brilliant guy - a former programmer at Ms - but he's no network engineer and his expertise is not in security/ privacy. He even admitted @ 1:34 that he totally missed those settings 'so many times, without realizing...' He is familiar with some of the issues (as most geeks are), but its clear that he is also just learning. GlassWire (which he mistakenly called LimeWire on several occasions) has a pretty UI and some graphs, but how serious is it when it defaults to full two-way traffic? I dont want to know after the fact and more importantly, if it sits on top of Windows then it defeats the purpose anyway. As shown by Jerry, Microsoft know how to bypass their own OS' supposed security features. Whether its ignoring the hosts file, local TCPIP call manipulation or other means, this fox (Windows) already has the keys to the hen house. >I will keep copy & pasting this as people seem to not know shit…< Please, dont do that as it will force those people to also copy/ paste real facts and reason, AKA common sense. And we all know how well common sense wins out in the end. 😉 This should not be an us vs them sort of thing. What it should be is a learning opportunity on both sides because we all use Windows (daily driver? VM? gaming only?) AND Linux (Android? Steam?) in some way, shape or form. Who knows where it will all lead? We switch platforms for a host of reasons and one should never say 'never.' I know many Linux users who were once vehement Ms fanboys. And that was back when the old unstable, buggy, virus magnet was nothing at all to brag about (imagine proudly defending or identifying with the Ford Pinto of operating systems... or should that be Reliant Robin?? Hmmm!). I also know Mac users who now buy Windows or boot into bootcamp exclusively. AAMOF, I was once partial to Apple machines. Witnessing the ease with which Apple ditched Power PC for x86, and therefore Windows-based hardware, was a sobering move; any and all arguments were killed overnight. The folly in staunchly defending these things was so thick that even Stevie Wonder saw it. The techscape is replete with such examples too: Commodore vs Atari vs TI; Apple vs 'PC'; Cyrix vs AMD; Palm OS vs Windows Mobile; Android vs Blackberry; iOS vs web OS (that one was very brief); Forza vs GT; iRacing vs rFactor; Windows/Mac; Windows/Linux... all the way down to everybody's favorite - AMD vs nVidia. Dont people learn? As for the not knowing sh!t bit, it may surprise you that some people here were already researching, teaching and publishing on these very issues while others, like yourself, still resided somewhere in your respective daddy's ba11s.

So you need third party
So you need third party software to stop your OS from spying on you. Yeah that makes it better.
Yes as in any OS. Those tools
Yes as in any OS. Those tools make it easier to tweak. Same can be done manually in any OS uninformed one!
> Yes as in any OS
No that’s
> Yes as in any OS
No that’s not the case. For example on Linux, *BSD and others you can read and alter the source code. When the bug is being found you can fix it by yourself by reverting a change or using a patch.
Like in this use-after-free case:
problem: http://git.kernel.org/cgit/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git/commit/?id=3a50597de8635cd05133bd12c95681c82fe7b878
fix: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/attachment.cgi?id=1116563
On Windows you have to trust that OS options does what they advertises and 3rd party software doesn’t do anything extra on your computer. I wouldn’t trust those freely available closed source 3rd party software too much …
Yes you can, I looked at code
Yes you can, I looked at code most of my life so stop spreading false information!
If you’ve seen the Windows
If you’ve seen the Windows source code, or even part of it, you’d be one of a very few select people with contractual obligations so far up you a**whole that you probably wouldn’t even be able to say you had seen the Windows source code.
Did he mention anything about
Did he mention anything about M$ source code?
Fucking idiots on the net assumtions is all they know to do…
As you seem to be having
As you seem to be having difficulty following your own conversation or using the internet Batismul let me clarify it for you.
It was said that “On Windows you have to trust that OS options does what they advertises and 3rd party software doesn’t do anything extra on your computer”
To which someone replied saying “[they] looked at code most of [their] life.”
Now if that wasn’t in reference to Microsoft source code, as it appears to be seeing as it was a reply to that statement, if it wasn’t in reference to that then that would mean your earlier statement that you need third party tools in any OS to stop the OS from spying on you is incorrect.
So what one is it Batismul, was it referencing Windows source code or was your statement that you need third party tools to stop any OS from spying on you wrong?
You so desperate to continue
You so desperate to continue to comment here to win some BS argument you don’t even have a clue about? (pathetic)
btw. Get a REAL life other than the one you so desperately want to live online in a comment section where nobody gives 2 shits about…
Let me clarify something for
Let me clarify something for your circle jerking comments….
NOBODY GIVES A SHIT ABOUT YOUR COMMENTS!
The English Oxford dictionary
The English Oxford dictionary contacted us asking if they could use your comment as an example for irony, unfortunately they thought it best to check if you intended to be ironic or were just really stupid, they contacted Microsoft and apparently, based on everything they’ve been recording, what you’ve typed, the question you’ve asked Cortana, and who you’ve been in contact with, based on all that information Microsoft informed the OED that you’re not intelligent enough to know when you’re being ironic.
In fact based on what Microsoft have been recording about you they’ve decided to push an update onto your PC because they believe you’re just to dumb for some features. 😉
+1 for proper understanding
+1 for proper understanding of irony! 🙂
