Settings used for Gears of War

The lone UWP title in our testing shows an even division between the five cards pretty much down the board, with the RX 480 and R9 390 both leaving the GTX 970 behind. In fact, this is the first instance in which we witness the new Polaris 10 GPU to be slightly faster than the R9 390.

The performance lead for the RX 480 increases over the GTX 970 as we bump up to 2560×1440, with the Polaris chip able to cross that magical 60 FPS mark at High image quality settings.

This table presents the above data in a more basic way, focusing only on the average FPS, so keep that in mind.
