You managed to get the Titan
You managed to get the Titan review up in a very timely manner for the 1% that will be buying it and for the rest of us that definitely want to read the review anyway, as it is cool tech, but somehow were not able to get either the Saphire Nitro + 480 review up or a review of any rx 470. Get you were busy with Quakecon, but maybe the latter reviews for the 99% could have been done first? I gather they are coming soon enough and I should chill out. Enjoy Quakecon.
Dude, chill out.

Well during the interview
Well during the interview with Ed Crisler he aid he didnt have any RX 470s. The Sapphire Nitro+ review will be coming soon.

The 470 is yawn inducing and to expensive. The nitro plus is interesting but not exactly exciting. Titan xp is far more interesting.

Ryan’s right about
Ryan’s right about G-sync/Freesync monitor tech being one of the most underrated yet game changing things in PC hardware.
At the beginning of the year had a GTX980 with a budget for VR, but after following Giant Bomb’s no bs coverage of the headsets and titles I quickly lost any interest and spent the money on a G-sync 165Hz/1440p acer predator ips monitor and a GTX1070 instead.
No chasing the V-sync fps target, no tearing and smooth as butter gaming, plus now I’ve no need to upgrade my 1070 for at least 4 years.
BTW Great show lads, I usually skip live audience shows of any podcasts.
Most Freesync monitors don’t
Most Freesync monitors don’t work as well as GSync. To get asynchronous support below the minimum, the ratio must be 2.5X or higher. For example, 30Hz to 75Hz range is okay because you can drop below 30FPS and still stay in asynchronous mode (via the AMD driver which resends the GPU output).
Unfortunately there are a lot of monitors that are 40Hz to 75Hz or even lower range, and they ONLY work in this range. Some are only 40Hz to 60Hz which means you are back to the VSYNC ON/OFF/tear/stutter issues if you go below 40FPS or above 60FPS.
AMD should drop the FREESYNC name from monitors that don’t have the proper range IMO.

I like the polls (raise your hand) because it gives a small insight into what kind of hardware his audience has.

Support the church of higher processing and framerating
First there was the political
First there was the political and religious affiliation related issues, and now there are the GPU related affiliations issues of both kinds, what with the church of the Green congregation struggling against the church of the Red congregation. And what about the Nvidiots party’s struggle against the Radeonits party. So now the touchy subjects are politics, religion, and GPU politics/religion, and maybe a few others. The world of the GPU fanatics is truly something to behold with its own sycophant ego struggle among the many glazed eye fiends.
The podcast RSS is broken

my AOC 1080p 144hz TN Free-sync display looks pretty solid, TN has come quite a long way
And final non youtube repeat is…
Don’t GPUs pretty much have to go multi-GPU eventually? Because the dies can only get so big right? And if you can get say 2 – 4 RX 480s working as fast as a 1080 or beyond a Titan XP potentially should the gods allow. That makes the company a lot more money due to yields no? That’s why AMD is probably making a dual 480 card like they’ve done so many in the past. At least until they make their stand with Vega, possibly their last stand for a while. Guess they just have to hope a lot more people optimize hard for DX12/Vulkan + A-symc
