On the euclidion stuff, I believe bump map is the same as normal map (one use normal maps to simulate bumps). However, what is used nowadays is parallax mapping and relief mapping (relief being patented). They actually simulate geometry, not only light reflection. It is also likely that tesselation is replacing some of the use of these maps.

“Everspin and Globalfoundries are announcing pMTJ ST-MRAM for GF’s SOI process. SemiAccurate thinks this is important because of its relationship to flash or at least embedded flash.
The short version is that Everspin’s perpendicular magnetic tunnel junction (pMTJ) Spin Torque MRAM is now in production as discrete chips at GF. Just for fun Everspin built a PCIe SSD out of those 256Mb chips to show off their capabilities. It may be only 1GB in size but this PCIe SSD, effectively an FPGA and memory, was pushing some pretty astounding numbers. How does 1.5M IOPS at 4K block size strike you? What if I told you it was 100% writes?”(1)

AMD is working to get CUDA
AMD is working to get CUDA Cooties vendor lock-in out and the open source in and free to use and modify!

MoCA in a cable tv situation
MoCA in a cable tv situation uses a filter that blocks out the frequencies returning back out of the house in order to create it’s own contained network, therefor, we use a filter at the root of each house that subscribes to any of our MoCA services.
I’m a service tech for a local cable company that uses Moca for home networking, and other stuff.
Off course, as Captain Obvious have said, on a sattelite service, the signal won’t get back to the sat. and it’s contained in the house.
