Cooler Master has been expanding their Master series to encompass cooling and enclosures, today with a pair of new lower cost heatsinks. The MasterAir Pro 3 is a $40, 92mm mini-tower while the $45 Pro 4 is a 120mm design, both of which use the X mount style of the previous Hyper 212 Evo. The Tech Report tested them on an i5-6600K and found both coolers to be somewhat more efficient at moving heat and significantly quieter than the stock Intel cooler. You won't break records but if you are looking for an inexpensive cooling solution and don't mind the mounting mechanism you should check out the full review.
"Cooler Master's MasterAir Pro 3 and MasterAir Pro 4 CPU coolers represent the latest refinements in a long line of tower-style air heatsinks from the company. We strapped them onto Intel's unlocked Core i5-6600K CPU to see how they perform."

These coolers seem like
These coolers seem like expensive versions of the Hyper 212 EVO and TX3. I’m failing to see what Cooler Master is aiming for here, other than charging more for what the 212 and TX3 do for much less money. I’m using the TX3 on my i5-4440 rig, and it works fine. Only thing I did was replace the fan that came with it. It was to noisy for my taste. SO I slapped a nice Noctua fan on it instead.
Well, judging by the
Well, judging by the pictures, it looks like the fans are replaceable now. It’s been a couple years since I had my TX4 but if I recall correctly the fan wasn’t swappable, dependent on the brackets molded as part of the fan housing to keep it attached to the heatsink. These pictures look like the brackets can be taken off the stock fan and attached to whatever fan you want to fit on there.

I’ve recently moved back to air cooling. The difference in noise between a decent tower fan and a radiator (especially all in ones) is actually quite striking.
