Zem is some good Zen prices
Zem is some good Zen prices if AMD can get near enough to Intel’s latest on that single core IPC metric with Zen. I’m waiting for some Zen APU news to see what the integrated graphics may look like on any Zen/Vega APUs. Most of the current BR/excavator cores based APUs are still using the 28nm process. So I’m thinking that once AMD gets any Zen/Vega APUs that are fabbed on a more mature 14nm Samsung/GF 14nm process that AMD could at least get 12 GPU Compute Units(CU) on its APUs rather than the 8 CUs that its currently using on its BR/excavator APU’s integrated GPUs. Now for any Interposer based Zen die and separate GPU die APUs and HBM2 AMD will be able to get those CU counts above 16+ CUs and that will be great once that happens!
Price/Performance is what AMD is really good at for those on a budget!
