Oh, here’s one I forgot: why
Oh, here’s one I forgot: why do Nvidia continue to utterly fail at labelling their DP++ ports with DP++? There are still people who have no idea those DP ports can also output native HDMI (or single link DVI) with passive adapters, because Nvidia fail to put the logo next to the ports, on the packaging, or in the manual!
What happened with
What happened with Simultaneous Multi-Projection Surround (Perspective Surround)? There has been no news about it and so far only one game actually uses it (iRacing).

Question for Tom:
With the release of the 1080ti it looks like increasingly the CPU and other aspects of the computer are beginning to bottleneck performance at 1080p and 1440p.
Can you please discuss what the potential bottlenecks are at these resolutions and what bottlenecks will be issues in the future the GPU is less and less the limiting factor?
Thanks!
Hi Ryan I asked this question
Hi Ryan I asked this question back when you had Tom on for the GTX980 release. It was about G-Sync and ULMB working together and he said maybe.
Well its been a few years since that question and Nvidia has a patent on variable refresh rate with low motion blur. Also people have been able to get G-Sync + ULMB working with hacks but glitches.
Can we see G-Sync and ULMB work together anytime soon officially even if it is glitchy?
Here is the patent that Nvidia has http://www.patentsencyclopedia.com/app/20150109286

Oh, i get it lol. Ryan gave a whiskey bottle as a present for Raja and they opened and drank it and got close to being drunk on live streaming… and this time, Tom looks already drunk just by drinking diet coke. No hug.

AMD is the ones “coaching” tech sites to show the Ryzen in best possible light by telling them to GPU bottleneck by using 1440/4k resolutions. LOL

Hi Ryan.
I have made a similar comment at your new youtube live podcast@March 16th, but i also have to mention it here since you were having a debate with Tom Petersen about how the “Ti” logo is pronounced:
I hate to disappoint Ryan by saying this, but Tom is correct about how the “Ti” is pronounced, since the “Ti” is short for the word “Ti-tanium” ( http://www.anandtech.com/show/831 ).
Hope that this will end these kind of debates in the future!!
Except that “Tie” sounds
Except that “Tie” sounds goofy. Tee-eye sounds way better and just because “Tie” is the first sound of the word Titanium doesnt mean you should pronounce the first sound of the word instead of saying the first two letters of the word….
I don’t think the “debate” will ever end…
well, the short for “David”
well, the short for “David” is pronounced as “deiv” right? but if we were just looking at the letters, then it should be pronounced as “dav” !!!. But the correct accent is “deiv” because that’s the accent that comes from the original name.
Same here. Since the “Ti” comes from “Titanium” then the correct pronunciation is “Tai”.
