Closing/outro
Intel laughed at AMD for so
Intel laughed at AMD for so long they now know only how to laugh.
Even when AMD was competitive
Even when AMD was competitive with Intel, Intel paid off Dell and other OEMs to not produce SKUs with AMD CPUs inside.
Intel’s illegal actions to hinder the free markets brought out the Real Meaning of Intel Inside! As in some Intel Inside deals hidden from the outside world and legal authorities. Intel, even now more that ever, needs to be monitored for the same Intel Inside where nobody can see inside to witness the many inside actions with the brown envelops stuffed with those Contra-Whatever inducements in the form of pictures of dearly departed presidents in order to keep Intel on the inside and AMD on the outside that could still be happening.
That 1.4 billion judgment that Intel had to pay to AMD is just the cost of doing dirty business to Intel, as is the billion+ Euro fine from the EU will be considered by Intel’s Management when Intel finally has to cough up that small expense. Intel profited many many times over that relatively small amount that they had to pay AMD, or even the EU when that fine can no longer be held up on appeal.
Intel laughed at the small 1.4 billion dollar fine that they had to pay, and Intel’s laughter after continues to this very day. So keep a very close eye on Intel as they will laugh loudest when they are up to their old tricks that never grow old to keep Intel Inside and the fair market competition outside.
Hey PCper, once all the
Hey PCper, once all the Threadripper and Vega 64/56 work is pretty much done and finished, if it ever really is finished completely before some AIB variants show up, could you maybe get any mini/micro ITX/ATX AM4 motherboards and try out the desktop Bristol Ridge/Excavator APUs from AMD. Even if it’s just to have some benchmarks for refrence to compare to the desktop Zen/Vega APUs when those SKUs begin showing up in 2018. I’m really intrested in building a mini desktop AM4 APU system and the Bristol Ridge SKUs are now available for home system builders to purchase. I’m looking for some AM4 mini/micro form factor desktop AM4 motherboard reviews done with APUs in mind that can be updated from a Bristol Ridge APU to Zen/Ryzen APU SKU later on.
