Glad to see you guys are
Glad to see you guys are enjoying the cookies, and apologies Josh & Jeremy that I couldn’t send you guys some well, perhaps next time. =)
Side question did the joystick make it there in working order?
(I did clean and test it before packing & shipping it)
also which flavor of the cookies is y’all favorite?
No worries, we would gladly
No worries, we would gladly take a bottle of scotch in lieu of cookies. 😉
Would be unfair to Josh, as I

I’ll donate a bottle if you guys do another 12 hours live-stream, where you do a segment answering user submitted questions under the influence of said donated bottle. =D
Is there an FCAT analysis of
Is there an FCAT analysis of RX Vega? From what other sites are showing the experience on Vega is actually smoother than the 1080 and 1080ti.
You mean FCAT like in our
You mean FCAT like in our Vega article?
(frame variance did not appear better than 1080/Ti)

“There is a cult of ignorance
"There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there always has been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that “my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.”"

Classic Gaming GIT(That’s GET north of Hadrian’s wall)! This website’s construction(and may other websites’ construction) is GIGO, as are most of the frameworks that this spaghetti script sits atop. It’s crap code all the way deep down the call stack into Redmomd’s pile of not even rat dung quality code/assemblies/frameworks.
Good read, nice settings
Good read, nice settings parity(Mostly) compared to GTX 1080/1070 for Vega 64/56, and oh the Vega compute when even more DX12/Vega titles start arriving! Nice Vage showing even on DX11 for the titles tested.

Now look at Vega 56 and
Now look at Vega 56 and compared to the GTX 1080:

Pixel Rate: _________ 94.14 GPixel/s _____ 110.9 GPixel/s

That’s pretty close for those ROP to ROP and TMU to TMU counts and Pixel Rates and Texture Rates. Man that’s close and RX Vega 56 has less compute but still more relative to it’s ROPs/TMUs that the GTX 1080 has in compute relative to its ROPs/TMUs. Memory clocks are doing a lot for the GTX 1080’s performance for sure as the RX Vega 56 may just be able to be clocked a little higher and get close to the 1080 in gaming but at what cost in extra power used.
That Vega 56 after a while if AMD can get some more very Cherry dies into its consumer SKUs and DX12/Vulkan can beging to make use of more compute on Vega 56 is going to be interesting to watch as time passes and the optimizations take hold.
