Enermax's LIQMAX AIO cooler has not received a lot of attention, in the case of [H]ard|OCP they were less than impressed with the choice to locate the fan controller on the hub. The second generation has remedied that issue by moving the switch to the side of the fans which makes it much more convenient when you need to adjust it. They also praise the evolution of the mounting brackets which have become easier to install with every new generation, though on a Threadripper you will still need to use AMD's bracket to install the LIQMAX II. Overall, the performance exceeded their expectations, for an $80 AIO solution it is quite effective albeit somewhat loud on the highest setting. Drop by for a look at their full review.
"Enermax is extremely proud of its Liqmax II 240 CPU AIO cooler. It is one of the few coolers you will find that it proudly displays its TDP rating right on the front of the box, which happens to be "350W+." With its Batwing fan blades, ceramic bearing pump, and Shunt-Channel-Technology it is a sure winner, right? Let's find out."

Look at that piece of plastic
Look at that piece of plastic over the actual cold-plate in the photo, why are they leaving it on in the promotional photo! Maybe that to cover the embarrassing small size in relation to maybe some Better Threadripper offerings that cover TR’s IHS completely.
Can you provide some
Can you provide some examples? Not being a troll here, seriously wondering what AIO options there are that do this.

That's not a promotional photo, that's a picture Marc took. Since this is not specifically for TR, like say the EK one, your comment is a non-sequitur.

Retake it without the plastic, lets see how much of the TR IHS that coldplate may cover.

And you can count to that
And you can count to that word cout for coins metric, with that SKU! But it’s not getting any sales until that cold-plate gets as large as Threadrippers’ IHS!
Ha ha ha! that cold-plate is probalbly as small as a regular postage stamp and it’s not even going to cover those Zeppelin dies arranged in that die quad under TR’s giant IHS/lid! Watts up with that!

Its an OLD model WITHOUT any TR4 support.
I have two of those and its by miles best AIO out there not made by Asetek. It keeps 2011-3 in check just fine. The only problem are screws for rad. Some weird inch thread, nothing typical (like M3,M4 or at least 6/32″), so keep that in mind. Built like a tank, really sturdy piece of kit, much better pump than any Asetek-clones.
Is the title wrong? 250 or
Is the title wrong? 250 or “350+”? (Edit: never mind, I read the “recommended TDP” in the article.)
