Following up on its updates to the XPS 13 last week, Dell today is unveiling a new 15-inch model of its XPS 2-in-1 lineup. The XPS 15 2-in-1, as it's officially named, is powered by the new Kaby Lake-G platform, which pairs an 8th Gen Intel Core processor with AMD Radeon RX Vega M graphics.
The 15.6-inch touchscreen display is available in both 1080p and 4K resolutions with up to 400-nits brightness and 100 percent Adobe RGB coverage. The display also supports Dell's new Active Pen, an optional $99 accessory which offers 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity with tilt support and palm rejection technology.
Despite its powerful Intel and AMD Radeon components, Dell claims that the XPS 15 2-in-1's 75Whr battery is good for up to 15 hours of battery life.

Complete pricing information for all configurations is not yet available, but Dell states that the new XPS 15 2-in-1 will start at $1299.99 and will be available for purchase sometime this spring.
I work for a real estate
I work for a real estate company and we have issued this model laptop in the past. I really dislike that they do not have an integrated NIC, and rely upon a USB docking station for wired network access. It makes for a very unpleasant time when having to image in a corporate environment.
It’s sad to see that Dell has continued this trend with their newest model.
Does the display support
Does the display support Freesync? If so this would be a pretty impressive laptop assuming expected “G” processor performance.

Good question. And it’s annoying how neglected Freesync has been in the mobile space, considering every laptop should have the hardware in place to implement Free/G sync.
Nvidia’s Gsync module started off as a way to put mobile hardware into desktop displays so they could use it for asynchronous refresh.

They should really have more configuration options for these. Why can’t I have a model with a 256gb SSD, 16gb RAM, and a 1080p screen? To get 16gb of RAM you have to pay for the 512gb SSD and the 4k screen I don’t want….
