Case and accessory maker NZXT is entering the PC components market with the announcement this week of its first ever motherboard. The NZXT N7 Z370 is based on Intel's Z370 chipset and is designed for both simplicity and clean looks.
The board features a built-in digital fan controller, integrated RGB lighting channels, an all-metal cover available in either black or white, and an on-board noise sensor that can help calibrate fan speeds and cooling pumps for a quieter PC.

actually looks pretty
actually looks pretty interesting. I love the plain flat black look. AND it appears to actually have a decent heatsink on the VRMS which apparently is becoming an issues on Intel boards lately.
Looks very nice. Should be
Looks very nice. Should be available in white. And for AMD Ryzen too. 😀
The article clearly stated
The article clearly stated there is a white option.
So I would ask who actually
So I would ask who actually makes the board….we know this a rebrand and it wasn’t fabbed by NZXT.
Gamers Nexus has some info
Gamers Nexus has some info stating ECS, but they have yet to confirm it.
Still waiting for more board
Still waiting for more board makers to integrate the damn io shield into the board.
No USB-C? Non-starter.
No USB-C? Non-starter.
I always thought a rear
I always thought a rear facing Type-C was a bit odd. That connector is made for frequent access so is better suited to front panel. There is 2x USB 3.1 Gen 1 headers on the board, so you could get a type C 3.5″ front panel?
Haven’t used any of these
Haven't used any of these personally, but it looks like there at least a few options.
I like EMI shielding, but i
I like EMI shielding, but i also like being able to look at all the Japanese capacitors on my board.
The noise sensor sounds like it needs extensive testing to determine if its a liability or an asset.
