Yes. I am old… If it weren’t for the end of XP, I’d still be running an AthlonXP system. 🙂
There is a socketed BIOS chip
There is a socketed BIOS chip on the Gigabyte AM4 400 series Gaming 7 Motherboard. So will that catch on with other makers and It would be a nice thing to have some extra BIOS chips shipped with motherboards for backup.
