The FSP Hydro PTM 650W power supply is rated for a combined, continuous output power of up to 650 watts at 50°C operating temperature. The PSU incorporates a single +12V rail, which can deliver up to 54A (650W).  The PSU includes universal AC line input (automatically adjusts the AC line voltage) and active PFC (.95% to 1.00%), which makes the unit more environmentally friendly to the local power grid.

Packaging and Parts

The Hydro PTM 650W power supply arrived securely packed inside a shrink-wrapped retail box highlighting the unit’s main features and specifications.

Note on the front of the box in the lower left corner, one of the features listed is “0dB Zero Noise”, which appears to be a mistake as this PSU does not operate in fanless mode at low power (or any power for that matter).

The power supply is protected by thick foam inserts and wrapped in plastic. The modular cables and accessories are packed inside a black cardboard box. In addition to the power supply, the box contains a power cord, mounting screws, a very brief User Guide, two sets of side stickers, and eight modular cables.
