You still shouldn't hold your breath, as we have seen announcements like this before, but it is possible Samsung will be showing off a foldable phone next month. Even more ambitious is their announcement that they will also be developing a foldable laptop screen. We have seen numerous other companies work on this before, but so far none have released a working model. If they can pull it off there are numerous applications which could benefit from this technology; with current hybrid tablet/laptops becoming truly foldable and eReaders offering a much more paper-like feel. The Inquirer has links to the rumours here.
"While the South Korean tech giant is supposedly set to unveil a smartphone with a foldable display next month, the company is apparently going to push that tech to laptops, reported The Verge."

Still interested to see if
Still interested to see if they’re going to do a “crease” or not. I think not. It’s gonna have to be wide, at least at one end.
Probably a hinge like the
Probably a hinge like the surface notebook? 180 degrees crease, would almost look like magic.
So does this mean if and when
So does this mean if and when these come out you can finally put them in your back pocket and when you need it the phone will be shaped to your Uhm form lets just leave it at that for now.
Samsung has been working on and hinting at foldable screens for a long time. SO long in fact we now have a few other companies or at least one claiming they are also doing a bendy phone.
I personally want a phone where the screen rolls/slides up & down from your wrist kinda like in that Movie or wa sit a TV show a few years back.
On a side note I think we need to have a new reboot of Star Trek it seems that from the very first one way back in the day that most of the stuff they had in that first gen Star Trek all pretty much happened many years later. Of coarse not all of it as we still do not have star ships that travel the universe but hey give it time maybe in another 200-300 years sadly though we will be gone long before then and it will be the lucky stiffs in the future that get to see all of that sweet tech.

Lol is this why iPhone 6s
Lol is this why iPhone 6s were bending back in the day? Morons were SITTING on them?! Just use your OTHER trouser pockets, then there isn’t a problem.
Samsung should rather cut the
Samsung should rather cut the grass under the foot of Apple offering a screenless smartphone. LOL
Samsung will again lead the
Samsung will again lead the dance. At least they have the idea and have "the audacity" to launch. Just like the 1st Galaxy Note, they dared and succeeded. At the time a 5.3-inch smartphone like the 1st Galaxy Note was unthinkable now there is nothing below that size. Congratulations Samsung. So certainly this foldable phone will be in my opinion overpriced, but hey the day the flat screens were out, they were also overpriced. Now it is normal to have one and are ultra accessible. In a few years it may be the same for folding phones.
