When last we visited The World of Darkness, it was a list of mods for the original Bloodlines game which was released back in November of 2004. You can try but an antediluvian game such as this is still going to look rather graphically dated, what we really needed is a new game. That is exactly what we are getting from Paradox Interactive, with the announcement of Bloodlines 2 as well as the release of a trailer. The development team includes Brian Mitsoda, who was a designer and writer for the original.
Rock, Paper, SHOTGUN got a look at the demo, and like anyone whom spent some of their younger years playing in White Wolf's World of Darkness should be, they are rather stoked.
"More than that, I have seen, hands off, the first half an hour of it and have spoken to senior writer Cara Ellison (late of this RPS parish), as well as Hardsuit Labs co-founder Andy Kipling, and narrative lead Brian Mitsoda. "

Should be an SJW crapfest
Should be an SJW crapfest (based on what I see from the “team”) from a low-tier studio that contains none of the good from the first game, and a whole lot of cringe-worthy garbage writing and character design. Brian Mitsoda is probably just there in a pathetic attempt to attract fans from the first game, and he probably has no real input on the writing for the game, or anything else for that matter, despite what is stated. I don’t imagine this will have much of a marketing budget (this PCper native ad non-withstanding), so this will flop.
Well aren’t you a cheerful
Well aren't you a cheerful sort, did a Gangrel piss in your Cheerios?
The devs have already stated
The devs have already stated they want to push their political agenda in the game and don’t care what fans think about it. Hard pass from me even though I love the first game.
That’s why there are
That's why there are Malkavians to screw with any and all intentions … unless this is using the crap new rules I've never played under but apparently make Malks a subset of the smegging stuck up their own sphicnters Ventrue.
