The Best Keyboard With No Strings Attached

Ars Technica have created a comprehensive reference guide for anyone shopping for a wireless keyboard.  They have broken down their recommendations into a half dozen categories, as the best overall keyboard might be less attractive to some than the best budget keyboard.  They also have a recommendation for Mac users as well as Windows users, as there are many with strong feelings towards one or both OSes.  They chose a variety of attributes to judge, connectivity might be the most important feature but there are other things to take into consideration.

Mechanical keyboard fans need not apply, there is a dearth of wireless models and those that do exist are aiming for a very different audience.

Keyboard preference is highly subjective, as there are many styles and features that are optional rather than necessary. However, we think a good wireless keyboard should tick a few essential boxes, namely in the connectivity and design areas.
