NVIDIA Release GeForce Game Ready Drivers

NVIDIA has just updated their GeForce Game Ready drivers to version 430.64. There are not a whole lot of major changes this time – just optimizations for World War Z, RAGE 2, and Total War: Three Kingdoms, and a handful of bug fixes.

In terms of fixes, most of the bugs were addressed in the (non-WHQL) 430.53 release a couple of weeks ago. In short, a couple crash bugs, high CPU usage of NVDisplay.Container.exe, and multi-monitor flickering while playing a video. If you have been using those bugfix drivers, upgrading to 430.64 will also prevent crashes when playing Hitman 2 in DirectX 12 mode. That game really does not like my PC for some reason… having constant crashes in DirectX 11 mode since it launched last November. Part of me wants to try it in DirectX 12 mode to see whether it’s somehow more stable.

The drivers are now available from the NVIDIA website and GeForce Experience.
