It’s Crucial To Note They Have Separated

Ah, back in the day Crucial used to be the go to DRAM for a picky motherboard, the memory modules may have been the same as others but the PCB was significantly better than most others.  Those days are somewhat past us, though you can run into the occasional Ryzen motherboard with specific tastes and Crucial has had to find other ways to distinguish their brand in a crowded market.  Their solution was to create the Ballistix brand, which has worked well enough that they have become their own company.

You can check out a review of their Ballistix Elite DDR4-3600 with timings of 16-18-18-36, which the Guru of 3D tested on both Intel and AMD platforms.  The 4x4GB kit is currently out of stock on Amazon but the 32GB kit is $350.

We review a 16GB Ballistix Elite kit from Ballistix, now its own brand separated from Crucial. The 3600 MHz 16GB memory is cool, fast and runs XMP 2.0 memory profiles on Intel platforms as well. Join us as we review some of the fastest clocked bars of memory your money can get you.
