MSI’s GeForce GTX 1650 4GT LP: A Low-Profile Option

A low-profile GTX 1650 with limited display outputs
The low-profile GTX 1650 was always an inevitability, as slot-powered NVIDIA cards tend to show up in this SFF (and office PC) friendly format. To this end MSI has quietly released their GeForce GTX 1650 4GT LP, though it is not of the single-slot variety.
This card offers a stock Boost Clock of 1665 MHz and stock 8 Gbps memory speed from its 4GB of GDDR5, though limited in the display support area with just an HDMI 2.0b and a DVI-D output.
The thicker dual-fan cooler design should allow for lower temps than some of the single-slot designs we’ve seen from prior GPUs, but the limited display support (with no DisplayPort output) will make this card’s application limited – though perhaps still interesting for an HTPC.
No pricing or availability info on this card just yet.
Looks just like my GTX 750 Ti, I wonder if there is much of a performance bump.
Someone open this up and take a look at the chip. This chip is the size of a 1060’s GP106. The way they fit the chip in will be interesting.
