JMA Wireless Is Trying To Help You Play Inside With 5G
Firing A Spread Of Phazr IOTA Small Cell Radios!
5G will save the world, and it will destroy it by ruining the ability to detect water vapour, or else it won’t; the only thing we are sure of is that it will suck indoors. The shorter wavelengths may speed up transmission but walls, doors and even UV filtering windows are quite effective at degrading the signal to speeds less than 4G. This is a bit of a problem, as a study The Register mentioned found that at least 80% of cell phone use occurs indoors.
JMA Wireless offers a possible solution with small little cell repeaters from Phazr that can be installed in buildings to improve service as well as their XRAN all-software baseband solution which can run on Intel servers to provide extra coverage. One must wonder if you really want to enable wireless on a server to be able to relay 5G cell signals; but to each their own.
American mobile connectivity biz JMA Wireless claims to have completed the design of a 5G product stack designed specifically to provide wireless networking within buildings.
